Artist Visualizes A Little Mermaid Living In The 21st Century And It’s Depressing

Before being reworked several times, Danish author Hans Christian Andersen wrote The Little Mermaid in 1836. However, the popular version was the one released by Disney in 1989, and with The Little Mermaid being re-released again in production, a German version the artist decided Stephanie Hermes imagining a mermaid in the 21st century. I will say that my style is inspired by American cartoons from the 90s, said the artist known as sos2. And with a touch of Japanese anime, I love drawing fun emoticons and cartoons perfect for that. While Stephanie calls his creation the mind of a little trash, his drawing shows ocean pollution in a way as subtle as it is depressing.
