Brutus and Pixie: It all began with a seemingly innocuous strip. A cat and a dog form an unlikely relationship. He is oblivious to the serious and risky situations that surround him.
Brutus, on the other hand, is a massive German Shepherd with scars. In several ways, Brutus is similar to Pixie. They noticed something. He’s a stern and challenging military dog, but he has a soft spot for pixie and does all he can to protect her from the harsh realities of life. Ben had no intention of turning his adventures into a series, but his fans (and most of the internet) were so enamoured with Pixie and Brutus that they felt it would be a sin not to. Ben’s stories are expanding, and new ones are emerging, so we just have to keep going.
There is no plague where Paxis and Brutus live, as you can see from these strips. “I’ve never really included incidents in any of the comics; it’s not something I’ve chosen to do, and it’s not something that comes naturally to me. Maybe it would be different if my jokes were about people rather than cats and dogs.
While we’re on the topic, the spread of coronavirus has had little impact on the artistic work of artists. They said that because I draw comics alone in a dark room of my own home, I’m already in jail for the day. In that respect, little has really changed.
If you visit Ben’s Instagram site, you’ll find that his work isn’t solely focused on Pixie and Brutus. You can also get fish that go on dates, fitness coaches that are more confident teach people how to behave like lions, and much more.
It’s something I came up with on my own. Pixie and Brutus comics aren’t the only ones that come to mind when I think of funny stuff. Consider a plot that doesn’t really suit with P and B, so I replace them with other recurring characters or entirely new characters.
