Fun of old life
I would like to introduce you to happy woman in her seventies, who has great sense of humor and expresses it through her cartoons about seniors’ life. She was not always a cartoonist. Indeed, she devoted almost all her time doing one of the most noble professions, teaching in school. She was always drawing funny things on blackboards in classes. However, she returned to carrying sketchbook only after she has retired from her job with a new aim in mind. That’s how she got an early start for her comics.
One day she and her friend went to a local senior centers event, and listened to many people complaining about how hard it is to grow older so, she came to a conclusion that most of these stories can be funny. Her comic strip often features humor about forgetting things, growing old with sore bones and joints, problems with hearing including with the help of a hearing aid and stubborn gadgets.
