A pest control worker walked into an office and discovered a massive 10-foot termite mound.

A pest control worker was left stunned after discovering a massive termite mound inside an office building. 😳 The enormous structure appeared to rise nearly 10 feet from the floor to the ceiling.

Termites are tiny insects, but their colonies can cause serious damage when left undetected. They feed on cellulose found in wood, paper, and other plant-based materials.

The discovery reportedly took place in an abandoned office building in Gordonvale, Australia. Pest manager Eddie Pearce found the mound extending almost to the ceiling, with parts reaching into the space above it. The colony may have been growing undisturbed for more than a decade.

The shocking sight is a reminder that termite infestations can remain hidden for years while causing extensive damage to wooden structures. Regular professional inspections can help detect termite activity before it becomes a major problem.
