Malia Nummerdor, a 38-year-old Florida mother, was arrested and charged with engaging in sexual contact with an animal.
According to police, the arrest followed allegations made by her husband on Facebook, where he claimed to have photo and video evidence of the abuse.
Police interviewed the husband, who revealed that he had installed two security cameras in the home to find out who had been stealing money from a coin jar, according to an arrest report from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

The cameras were known to everyone in the home, according to the husband, who was not identified.
But while reviewing the recordings from a bedroom camera, he found video of Nummerdor allegedly engaging in sex acts with the family dog.
The husband showed investigators images from the recording and gave them access to the laptop that contained the footage.

Police interviewed Nummerdor on Tuesday and she acknowledged the video showed her with the dog, but denied there was any sexual contact and that she was just petting it.
Nummerdor was unable to explain the actions in the video, and the officers found her answers contradictory.
Nummerdor’s Facebook profile contains photos of her over the years with her husband, whom she married in 2023, and her two boys.

She was arrested Tuesday and booked at the Charlotte County Jail, where she flashed a toothy grin for her mugshot, records show.
